... because my local retailer ordered too few and sold out a month before I ususally do my calendar shopping!
Linnea Designs was completely sold out as well, but they were very helpful in linking me with a retailer in another area that had a few in stock and who would accept a phone order.
So I'm glad to see these available NOW and on AMAZON. Price is a couple of bucks higher than if you order directly from Linnea Designs, but if you're getting free shipping through one of Amazon's programs, then this is a better deal.
About the calendar:
I was sad when Linnea retired from creating the calendar herself and thought her last would be my last ... until I saw Johanna's 2010 Linnea Design Calendar last year.
I love the additional breadth and style Johanna has brought to this long-running art series. The grandeur of September 2011 is a perfect example of this. Still, many of the posters echo the country simplicity of calendars past. All are beautiful!
Thanks to Amazon for making this easily available, and thanks to Linnea Designs for continuing to provide delightful seasonal art for my wall!

I've been buying Linnea calendars for years and was delighted to find them on Amazon. Linnea's graphics are superb. I frame all 12 months and have them hanging on the wall..

I have this framed in my dining room/kitchen, it looks like art work and is just the best thing. I love it. My aunt has been buying these calendars for years and I'm glad I finally asked her about them. Now I have them in my house and will continue purchasing them. I've had several people ask me about them and it's only March. Great buy.

Got the 2011 calendar and have been waiting for MONTHS to start using. Pictures are beautiful and the paper quality is quite high. You do need to get a frame to hang/display each month's poster in. I can easily see keeping these as art pieces.

The monthly calendar pictures are very pretty. Fun to have a different picture every month. Would highly recommend this.
