 Beware of "Bone" Paper Clips Oct 21, 2011

I was SO excited when I ran across these dog bone paper clips. I work for a company who's name is 'dog' related so I'm constantly on the lookout for dog related items to enhance my product presentations, customer gifts, mailings, etc. My excitement fizzled when I realized that the paper clip is is a 'Dog Bone' ONLY ON ONE SIDE. On the other side, however, it is NOT a dog bone.... Great as a gag gift or bachelorette party. NOT GREAT for kids or work.

If you're wanting to buy this as a gift for someone who loves dogs, I must caution you that (if you haven't realized this already) if you clip it to a paper, it doesn't look like a dog bone on both sides. However, I bought these as an accessory for a bachelorette party, and they were a huge hit.

These paper clips were a good idea, but you need to be cafeful on how you put them on a piece of paper. If you put them on a piece of paper the wrong way, you have a male body part at the top of your page. In the picture above, cover up the left side of the bone and you'll see what I mean. Please apply the paper clips properly or you might make someone mad.

I gave these as a secret santa gift this year and was shocked and appalled when I saw them in use. The recipient of the gift went from delighted to offended in the time it took her to open the box and try one of the clips on the lid. Best christmas ever.

These are so wrong on so many levels. Think about what they would look like when you actually paper clipped them to something. Not a pretty picture. Definetly don't give these to kids. Great for joke gifts though.
